BeforeColumbusFoundation.org was founded by an elderly woman, named Emma Columbus, who had spent a good portion of her life accumulating antique chairs. On her 68th birthday, Emma’s son Vinnie, bought his mom this website, and the means to put her passion online.
Since that winter day back in 2008, Emma has had a new lease on life. Her life of chair shopping can finally be chronicled on the internet.
